Is located on Main Street in Winnipeg. The building is a six storey hotel with 120 rooms and associated amenity areas. The building is supported on driven precast piles, and the structural system is a combination of precast concrete hollowcore floor slabs supported by load-bearing masonry walls. Tower Engineering provided Structural and Mechanical Engineering & Design.
This sprawling site includes multiple CRU pad buildings throughout, consisting of retail and restaurant tenant spaces. The site utilizes a geothermal heat pump system. Tower was integral to the review and installation assessment of this system. Tower Engineering provided Mechanical, and Electrical Design services.
