The facility included the construction of a fully sprinklered 7,200 sq.m. (77,500 sq.ft.) combination Industrial / Commercial Building, the installation of a Process Line for converting Nylon Pellets to Nylon Sheets, and all of the Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical infrastructure required for the Process Line to operate. Tower Engineering preformed the role of Project Management, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering & Design.
The project consisted of a new 10,000 sq.ft. office component and 23,250 sq.ft. poultry hatchery facility with associated loading, maintenance and support spaces. Tower’s scope included in-depth energy study and complete innovative Industrial Engineering & Design Services which resulted in $250,000 of utility and government capital incentives and $100,000 annual energy savings. Tower was awarded the 2009 CEM Award of Excellence Design Winner in the Industrial Design category for its work at Granny’s.
